Programs & Services
Overview
SESE offers a wide variety of special education programs and services for the families that it serves. We believe that social, emotional and physical development is equally as important as academic development. Therefore, within each of these programs, individual goals are developed to maximize each students learning potential with respect to these areas.

Self-Contained Classrooms
SESE offers self-contained classrooms with individualized support for students with special needs, led by specialists.

Safety Care Training
SESE offers Safety-Care Training, equipping staff with skills to prevent, manage, and respond to behavioral crises safely and effectively.

Additional Services
Any student who has a vision impairment that is adversely affecting his/her learning is a potential candidate for the vision program.

TCIS
SESE provides Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) to help students manage crises safely through prevention, de-escalation, and support strategies.

Itinerant Support Services
Occupational and physical therapy services are provided to students who, in addition to their primary disability, have additional physical needs...
